The man dies in all who keep silent in the face of tyranny – Professor Wole Soyinka

Boko Haram killed UNIMAID lecturers, NNPC Geologists, soldiers, students, market men and women recently; just last week. They are the 4th most dangerous Islamic terrorist group in the world.

Fulani herdsmen killed about 30 people in Plateau State with their killing of farmers and raping of even old women, causing demonstrations in Ondo State, including thousands of previous killings. They are not terrorist groups. Today they move freely, unchallenged and unhindered for over two years or more now.

But IPOB, peaceful and armless group, that has never fired a shot at anyone or order the killing of anything except that their only weapon is their usual massive PEACEFUL rallies has been declared as a terrorist group by Nigeria Military. This is One Nigeria!

Some Igbo leaders for their self-aggrandizement supported the massacre, impoverishment and relegation of the people they are supposed to lead. Tomorrow they will heap many lies and ask you to come out and vote. What a pity for those who claim they are wiser than Hausa/Fulani.

Professor Wole Soyinka wrote, “the man dies in all who keep silent in the face of tyranny” whilst Franz Fanon wrote:

“The future will have no pity for those men who, possessing the exceptional privilege of being able to speak words of truth to their oppressors, have instead, taken refuge in an attitude of passivity, of mute indifference, and sometimes, of cold complicity.

We are nothing on earth if we are not slaves to a cause, the cause of the people and the cause of justice, liberty and free ideas that are made available to all.

Each generation must, out of relative obscurity, discover its mission, fulfil it, or betray it.”

May the souls of all those that were ruthlessly butchered and martyred by the army in Abia state rest in peace.
